Are you done yet? Sometimes that’s the question you need to ask yourself. Are you done playing with the dream and ready to walk in your glory? I just came back from Cheryl Wood’s Playtime is Over Women’s Business Empowerment Conference: walking in power was the theme. The conference was filled with God’s spirit and serious women ready and dedicated to rock this world with their gifts.
I was there and I’m one of them.
At the conference I asked myself and reflected on whether or not I was really done playing small and done with complacency.
I left the conference empowered, inspired, and on fire for my dream.
I’m also done believing that anyone else can make my like sizzle for me. I’m done ever thinking that a job can make me rich. (Sorry. A 3% raise will never be the answer to our financial prayers).
I’m done believing that anybody else other than me has to take the first step to get me to my sweet financial promised land I call “Wishes Fulfilled.”
Most of all, I’m done thinking that I should be waiting for God. The truth is God is waiting for me.
I don’t need prayers about whether or not I should move forward in my dream because God gave me the dream in the first place. Yes I sometimes need clarity about the next step, but I don’t need clarity as to whether or not God is nudging me. And I understand it has never been God not moving, or anointing and appointing people to bless me. I understand that it’s all me. When the dust settles, it has always been me. Now, there are no more excuses about me being lazy; I’m done with that too. I’m done letting fear talk me out of my blessing.
Things only happen when with conviction you draw your line in the sand and say, “Im done.”
So yes, I’m done.
