Imagine that: telling the story of your life the way you want it you be. Little children do it all the time when they play in their imaginations. They’re setting the stage for how they want things to be. The power of their words combined with focused thought power is definitely magical: we should be so clever.
Since we adults spend way too much time talking about the things that we don’t want and focusing on the things that don’t work, I’ve made a conscious decision: I’m not doing that anymore.
This isn’t airy fairy pie-in-the-sky stuff either; this is real. Go meditate and focus on what you want. Talk about it and play in the thoughts that make you feel good. Tell the story exactly how you want it to be. Do it long enough and watch what happens. Yes you have to face the facts of your life, but Tony Robbins says, “Face the facts and marry the truth.” Look at the situation for what it is – don’t deny it, just marry what your heart knows to be true. Let that be your happily ever after.
And by the way, have you forgotten the power of your prayers? Have you forgotten your meditations? Have you forgotten the power of focus?
Imagine that: all my power starts in my head.
So here’s my invitation: for the next 21 days let’s meditate for at least 15 minutes a day. Find a quiet spot and just focus. Next, during this period let’s only talk about what we want. We’ll no longer give voice to things that aren’t working. It’s probably going to be hard to engage in that level of discipline, but it’ll be worth it. I’ve already started by not watching the news or commenting on things that are happening. I no longer participate in things that make my soul uneasy.
Lastly, follow every single spiritual nudge that you get in reference to your dream.
Watch what happens. I can’t wait for the praise report.
Ready, set, imagine…
