When are you going to really start living? When are you going to do the thing you’ve longed for? When are you going to change your “I might” to an “I will.”
I mean, when are you going to really live it up? When will you live where you’re overwhelmed with joy and so happy to be alive that you’re just ready to pop? This is not a fairytale I’m talking about either: this is really the life we deserve. And I’ve set myself on the path…
Maryland and kept bugging me for years. Every time I’d visit my cousins and come back home on the New Jersey Turnpike I’d ask myself, “What are you doing with your life?”
For too long, I had no answers; just loud silence and then I’d continue telling myself that someday I’d move. I could’ve told myself that you don’t have to stay where you’re planted you know. You don’t have to make the dream happen “someday.” We should make “someday” today.
Someday isn’t gonna work anymore. What if your someday is right now? You need to push to make it happen. Your happy starts when you change your mind and shift from an “I want to” to an “I will do.”
Moving to Maryland has made me so sure that I love trees, that I’ll never again live with a whole bunch of noise around me, and that I value my peace of mind.
Peace of mind is priceless and you’re not going to really start living until you make a decision, a conscious and intentional choice, that peace matters most.
Sneak away if you have to, or take frequent vacations – just make sure you find your joy.
It’s time you start living out loud.
